As a mother of two that works full-time, I often find myself putting everyone's needs ahead of my own. Not trying to sound dramatic, but I making the decision to have a boudoir session several months ago changed my life. Like most women, I always found myself feeling less than beautiful. Everyday I found that part of my body that I disliked and wanted to change. 

I was nervous before having a boudoir session. I wondered how I would be able to sit in front of a photographer feeling less than comfortable in my own skin. I signed all the forms beforehand, deciding to make my session private. After all, why would I want anyone to see my pictures?

Session day arrives and my husband and I show up to the studio. I was impressed with all the thought that had went into the details. Being around Joel and Shelby was so fun. They create an environment that is both relaxing and uplifting. My husband was in awe during the entire session. He later told me that he was nearly in tears seeing me confident and comfortable, not worrying about how I looked or nit-picking my perceived flaws. 

After seeing some of the photos Joel had taken, I decided before I left the session that I wanted to change my sharing agreement so that Joel could share the photos he had taken. I must admit, I looked incredible! 

Afterwards, I view myself differently. I feel so much more confident now. I have fallen down the rabbit hole of lingerie and now own a collection of my own (p.s. Don't start buying Honey Birdette unless you plan on starting an addiction). The session was worth every penny and more. I highly recommend investing in yourself by booking a session. Trust me, you won't regret it!
