Our love for photography started with Shelby. After the birth of our first child, we decided we needed a good camera to capture those precious fleeting moments. Not satisfied with the photos she was getting, Shelby starting learning all she could about photography.
Our passion for boudoir photography started back in 2017 during an anniversary getaway and grew from there. Shelby put the camera in my hand and my love for boudoir photography was born.
We started out in our bedroom photographing friends and eventually clients. We moved to a commercial space in 2021, where we were for 2 years before eventually converting our garage into our studio and moving back home to make things easier on us after the birth of our 4th child.
The impact we have been able to make through our boudoir photography continues to amaze us. We are so grateful for all of the clients who have helped us grow and have trusted us with not only their boudoir sessions, but their stories as well. We hope to continue to help women feel empowered, gain confidence, heal and discover a whole new side of themselves.

Hi, I'm Joel.
Your Winston Salem Boudoir Photographer. I work with my wife, Shelby, when she's not busy wrangling our 4 kids. I am geeky, awkward, and for some reason I trip on flat surfaces. When I'm not behind the camera, I am usually working at my other job, playing with my kids, or binge watching Netflix.
Hi, I'm Shelby.
I’m the wife of Joel & mother of our 4 children. I work alongside Joel during sessions as the second photographer, & I also run the behind the scenes tasks for our business. Outside of our business, I’m a stay at home mom & I am passionate about documenting our family. I was born & raised in Florida, love all things geeky, & am a huge fan of horror movies, much to Joel’s dismay. Lucky for him I also like a good comedy movie. Want to know more? About Our Boudoir Style
Through guides, classes, mentorships, practice and years of shooting, we have become masters at creating stunning, emotive and sensual boudoir photographs. Our use of moody light and posing choices come together to create a unique boudoir style that is a mixture of classic and sexy, usually with a pop of color from the luxury lingerie we have stocked our client closet with.
Our Education and Experience
We have been studying photography since 2011 and shooting boudoir since 2017, have trained under 3 expert boudoir photographers, and have invested in many guides and classes. We constantly strive to expand our boudoir and photography education so we can grow as photographers and continue to give our clients an amazing boudoir experience.
