I’ve dealt with self esteem issues my entire life. I never felt like I was “enough”. I stumbled upon Joel & Shelby’s Facebook page a while back as I was searching for boudoir photographers. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but kept letting my anxiety and fear get in the way. Well a few weeks ago there ended up being a cancellation. It was very last minute, which was perfect for me, and I finally said screw it and jumped on the opportunity.
Let me tell you, I am so glad I did!! The shoot has been life changing. When I saw a few of my pictures I was absolutely blown away. I couldn’t believe it was me!! I have discovered a love for my body I never knew could exist!! If any of you are on the fence about getting a shoot done, just do it. I’m so thankful and glad I did. And I can’t wait till my next one!!
