We're Having a Baby!

If you follow us on social media, you already know that we're expecting our 4th baby in July. As a husband and wife boudoir photographer team, this means some changes are coming to our business pretty soon, aka Shelby will be going on maternity leave starting in June and will no longer be attending boudoir sessions for awhile. Although we love working together, family comes first and it is important to both of us that our baby has at least one of us caring for her at all times. Shelby has been a stay at home mom from the beginning and only starting working as a boudoir photographer once all of our children were in school, so we're trying to figure out how to navigate adding a new addition to our family. At this point we don't know how long she will be away from the shooting side of our business once the baby is here. All we know is that she will miss being there for our amazing boudoir clients!

Despite this change, our business will continue on as usual, and you can expect the same quality as before. The only difference is that when you come in for your boudoir session, you won't get to be entertained by our silly banter (if you don't want to miss out on this, make sure you book your session before June!). She'll still be around helping me manage our social media though, so she's not completely disappearing!

We're beyond excited to be welcoming a new baby into our family this year. It's something we have wanted for a long time, and for awhile thought it wouldn't even be possible without the help of fertility treatments. Our baby girl is due July 8th, and is already so loved by so many people. We can't wait to have her in our arms! Until then, you can expect some amazing maternity photos and pregnancy updates over the next few months.
