Throughout our years as boudoir photographers, we've had so many conversations with people who want to book their boudoir session, but there's something holding them back. Whether it be fear, money, or some other reason, we understand, and we want to help you work through whatever your reason might be.

In our private, ladies only VIP group (Biondi Boudies), we hosted a poll asking what is holding you back. We took the answers and came up with a list of answers to these common concerns.

-I can’t afford it-

Boudoir is an investment to yourself. I understand that it’s a big expense and that’s why I also offer pre and post payment plans! If you need to take a few months to pay for your shoot that’s fine! If you need a year that’s ok too.

Not only do we offer payment plans, we also accept different forms of payment, including PayPal Credit, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Cash!

There will also be opportunities for you to get a shoot for less. Throughout the year I tend to host the occasional sale. I want everyone to have the opportunity to have a boudoir session, no matter the cost!

-I don’t have the confidence.-

Shoot, neither do I. Neither does Shelby. But every time I step in front of the camera my confidence comes back. Confidence comes from doing the things that you are scared to do. Pushing through that fear will give you the most empowering feeling. Boudoir can be nerve wracking. But I promise you your confidence will come! You’ve never seen yourself in the way that I will show you. When people tell you how beautiful you are this is what they see (maybe not in lingerie lol). Every lady that steps in front of my camera walks out with more confidence that she came in with. You’ll be more confident in the way you look, and more confident in general because you’ve faced something you didn’t think you could do, and you nailed it!

If you’re worried about not knowing what to do or how to pose, don’t worry about that at all! My job is to guide you through everything and put you in the most flattering poses. You’re not going to look silly or ridiculous, even if you feel like you do.

-I need to lose weight/ I have stretch marks or scars/I don’t like the way I look.-

The fact that these things make you feel unworthy of a boudoir session, even though you clearly want to do it, makes you the PERFECT candidate for boudoir! Everyone can think of a reason they SHOULDN’T do it but what if you changed your way of thinking and made a list of reasons why you should do a session! You might be surprised how many more reasons there are TO do it. The most important being the fact that boudoir is not for anyone else, It’s for you.. Even if you never show another soul your images, your session is for you! It will change the way you see yourself and that alone is the perfect reason to go for it!

-If I looked like the models on your page I would book.-

The beauty of boudoir is not to make you look like someone else, but to show you how beautiful and sexy YOU are in your skin. It’s about creating a safe place for you to be who YOU are. I’m there to show you what I see! That’s why I love this job so much, I meet women and men from all walks of life, all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities etc and I get to take each unique person and empower them. Each and every woman you see on my posts/feed are women just like you, who had insecurities and self doubt just like you do. Many of them had the same initial reaction as you, but left feeling amazing and happy that they took the leap! I hope when you’re ready, you’ll let me do the same for you. Not everyone signs a model release to allow me to post their photos but 100% of the people I’ve shot are beautiful and I wish I could post all of them!

-I don’t have the boobs/booty for that.-

Don’t make me laugh! All boobs are beautiful and all booties are beautiful! I’ve shot boobs and butts of all sizes from A-H. And I know all the best poses that will accentuate your curves and I will even help you choose the most flattering outfit options so that I can give you amazing photos that you’ll fall in love with.

-My partner is not comfortable with the idea of Boudoir-

I definitely understand wanting to respect your marriage/relationship and would never encourage you to do otherwise. Would your partner feel more comfortable if we all 3 had a consultation before deciding or maybe if he were at the session with you? Boudoir is a great way to boost self confidence and make you feel more empowered and beautiful! So, while a boudoir session is ultimately for YOU, I’m sure those are all things your spouse/partner will agree they want for you, too!

-I’m a mom-

This is my favorite and that's because it sounds more like a reason to have a session. I have a soft spot for moms, can't help it. Moms get stuck in mommy mode and forget that they are more than just a mom. You get pregnant, have your baby, get up with them every few hours taking care of your infant, and the next thing you know you're like us and you have a middle schooler and all you can remember is that no matter how many times you do it, the laundry it just keeps piling up. You are more than "Mom" and "Mommy". More than anyone you deserve to be pampered and to feel beautiful and sexy! You deserve to celebrate your body just as much as anyone else. So let's get started on celebrating you because you are an amazing woman!

-I don’t want anyone to see my pictures-

Completely understandable! Boudoir is very personal, and not everyone wants to share that with the world. Everyone that I shoot signs a Model Release stating what I’m allowed to post, if anything. You can choose to share everything, or just anonymous shots, or you can choose to keep your photos completely private. We will never pressure anyone into sharing anything that they do not want to share.

-I’m too old-

The only thing you can be is too young! You are never to old celebrate your beauty and your body. I have photographed women of all (legal) ages and they have all rocked their sessions (although I haven’t shot anyone over 60 yet so if you know someone send her to me!)
