Introducing Thea
On July 17th, we headed to the hospital to start the induction process so we could finally meet our baby girl. She was 9 days overdue and we were beyond ready to hold her. We arrived around 9AM, and got checked in and set up in our room. They started pitocin around 11:15 that morning, and after that we had nothing to do but wait for the contractions to begin. The contractions didn't take long to start, but it took around 2 hours for them to be felt. After that, things got pretty intense for awhile. Thank goodness for epidurals! Around 6 PM, it was push time. Our baby girl, Thea Renee, came into this world at 6:31.
